The Comp

Original concepts gravitated toward traditional towers, the red one is inspired by dripping paint. The v-shaped final design borrows from the bold colors and shapes found in wildstyle graffiti.

Manufacturing solutions for both high and low volume production were developed.

Both versions are aesthetically similar, but lower part cost methods are employed to reach the higher volumes.

RIM surfaces on the low vol can easily be scaled to injection-molded high vol parts

Computers are becoming just as much a tool for personal expression as the trusty spray can and marker, one designed for street artists needs to be simultaneously bold and personalizable.

By employing unique materials, The Comp is able to achieve these goals for both the high volume/low price, and low volume/high price markets.
